So the official trailer for Tyler Perry’s upcoming movie “For Colored Girls” is out.
Perry’s new movie is based off Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play. The play consists of a series of monologues and poems performed by a cast of nameless women who are known only by a color. The poems address subjects such as love, abandonment, and abortion.
The ALL-Star cast of actresses will include Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Jurnee Smollett, Loretta Divine, Phylicia Rashad, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Macy Gray & Aniko Noni Rose. Khalil Kain, Omari Hardwick, Isaiah Mustafa, and Richard Lewis will play the men in the film.
The movie is set be released in theaters November 2010. This movie looks like it’s gonan be real good. I can’t wait!Check out the trailer below…
