Shane Sparks Charged With 8 Counts Of Child Molestation

America’s Best Dance Crew judge and So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Shane Sparks was arrested by LAPD on Friday morning (December 18) for rape and charged with 8 counts of child molestation, broken down as follows: 4 counts of lewd conduct with a minor under 14 years of age, 2 counts of sexual intercourse with a 14 or 15 year old and 2 counts of oral copulation with a 14 or 15 year old. All charges are based on the same victim for acts that occurred between 1994-1997. The victim was a dance student at Millennium Studios in North Hollywood, where Sparks was a dance instructor. It is alleged the acts started when the girl was 12 and continued until she was 15.

Sparks was held in a Van Nuys jailed, with bail set at $590,000. He has since been released. Sparks attorney, Steve Meister, told Us magazine his client is innocent. “This entire case wreaks of opportunism and exploitation and it stinks to high heaven,” said Meister.

Investigators believe there are more victims out there and are urging them to come forward
