Music group Day 26 has decided to release member Que from the group. Que, surprised and hurt over the release, blasted the news via Twitter stating he received a the letter from his former bandmates, informing him of the let go.
In a WGCI radio interview, Day 26 member Willie spoke on the matter explaining what viewers saw during MTV’s Making The Band 4 was an accurate glimpse into their relationship with Que. According to Willie, “that was true, there was no script to it… that’s how he was acting…what people don’t know is we almost lost our deal. A lot of stuff we almost lost because of this dude.” Willie went on to explain, “You have shows where Que wouldn’t show up. He changed his number, changed his Twitter…we didn’t have contact with the dude.” He further referred to Que’s presence in the group as cancer and he had to go.
Que responded to the allegations via video through his new management, Soul World Entertainment. According to Que, “I feel bad for my brothers because they don’t get it and they making me seem like the bad guy. It’s Screwface, it’s not Puff. It was Screwface. It wasn’t Bad Boy.”
Que then denied not showing up to Day 26 concerts and accused them of not wanting to get their business in order. He claims to still have love for Day 26 but is moving on.
